Tofani Doors Scavenger Hunt Bingo

“10 out of 10. I want a Tofani door for my house now.”

—Kevin

CONCLUDED

This casual event honored the amazing retro designs seen in many South Philadelphia doors, made by the Arthur Tofani Lumber & Millwork Company from the 1920s to 1950s. At the beginning of the event, Puzzlers received a visual scavenger hunt sheet that depicts the different door designs found in the neighborhood. When you found one, you would write down its house number, and when you got four in a row (a bingo), you would send in a photo of your sheet for verification. The first team with a bingo won, and everyone got to take home their bingo card. I suggested coloring it in and hanging it up as a nice little poster!
