South Philly Mural Escape

AVAILABLE NOW

Imagine a self-guided mural tour… that’s also an epic escape room built into the streets of South Philly! Nothing’s above scrutiny in this cooperative adventure for 3–5 players, since the location-based puzzles you’ll be up against can only be solved by finding and collecting objects hidden in the real world!

Over the course of 1.5 miles, the puzzles will guide you to 7 delightful murals—and each one plays a role in uncovering more puzzles and clues. You’ll also learn about the art you discover by unlocking video messages from the artists themselves!

Like an escape room, your experience starts with a brief rules rundown, which I'll provide at the starting point. You'll be on your own after that, with hints available remotely if you get stuck. We’ll reconvene at the end—and if you “escaped” in under 2 hours, I’ll take you on a mini guided tour of a few more murals as your prize!

Questions you might have:

Can I book SPME for more than five people?
I won’t stop you, but just know that your experience may be diminished by having “too many cooks in the kitchen.” Some members of your group may feel like they aren’t able to contribute.

Can I book SPME for just one or two people?
Again, I won’t stop you, but just know that your experience will be more challenging.

Does SPME work well as a company team building exercise?
Yes! In addition to team building, SPME has also served as a birthday present, double date, and anniversary celebration.

Can I reschedule if the weather is bad?
You can reschedule your booking any number of times for any reason, up to 36 hours in advance.

Can I give SPME as a gift?
Yes! You can buy a 100% discount code here and give it to your recipient to book with at their leisure.

Do I need to know anything about Philly or murals?
No, you do not need any special knowledge! All you’ll need is a charged phone with internet access.

Why is it so expensive?
Traditional escape rooms charge $25–$40 per person for a ONE HOUR experience. With SPME, depending on your group size, you’ll pay $25–$42 per person for a TWO HOUR experience. Sounds like a deal to me!
